Catumnal Farms is located 10km north west of Boort in Northern Victoria. It consists of approximately 7,300ha of cropping area of which around 20% is irrigation.
The annual average rainfall at Catumnal is 400-420mm with about 60% falling in the growing season of April – October.
The production focus on this farm is winter cropping of canola, wheat, barley and legumes such as faba beans and lentils. Corn can also be grown in the summer on the irrigation area.
Daybreak acquired Catumnal Farms in 2017 and has a permanent staff of 5 and utilises casuals and contractors throughout the year.
